It’s been nearly one year of social distancing during a global pandemic. A year with limited visits, elbow taps rather than handshakes and air hugs instead of a warm embrace. But our need for human connection and community has not gone away with our need to protect each other from a deadly virus.
Staff and clients at Catholic Charities have been working around the clock this past year to protect each other and show they care from 6 feet away. Through every shift to a “new normal,” staff have made sure the people we serve never feel forgotten or alone. Every program has come together as a community.
As we approach Valentine’s Day we want to offer you the opportunity to show some love for those who need it most. Print out any of our Catholic Charities coloring sheets, hang it in your window at home to show others you care and post a picture on social media tagging us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
