Giving Tree

For nearly three decades, Catholic Charities has hosted our annual Giving Tree event at the Mall of America. Each holiday season, community members like you have gathered at the MOA to add those most in need to their shopping lists. This event ensures that basic needs like clothing, personal hygiene items and household goods are available to those we serve who are experiencing homelessness or rebuilding their lives in a home of their own.

2020 has been a challenging year, and Catholic Charities’ emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic increased costs by over $1 million per month. To respond to this need while keeping our community safe, this year’s Giving Tree has been adapted to provide flexible and socially distanced giving opportunities.

We are so grateful for your generous support—it always makes the holidays brighter for those in need!

Step 1. Select a requested gift from the 2020 Giving Tree Wish List.

Step 2. Shop for your selected gift online, at your favorite store, or virtually using the MOA Popshop Live App.

Step 3. Drop off your unwrapped gift at the Giving Tree Drive-Through Event or at one of our participating sites.
