The 2018 Dorothy Day Community Breakfast gathers the community in recognizing 37 years of caring for the poor, hungry and homeless in Saint Paul. As construction continues on Phase II of Dorothy Day Place—Saint Paul Opportunity Center and Dorothy Day Residence—we are so grateful to be part of cross-sector community partnerships to end homelessness.
Please join us to honor the collaborative spirit of those lending their support and advocacy to bring hope and opportunity to our most vulnerable neighbors. The program will include remarks from Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter and Jeanne Crain, the CEO of Bremer Financial Corporation and co-lead on the Governor’s Task Force on Housing.
At this year’s breakfast, we are proud to honor Dominium with the 2018 Dorothy Day Community Service Award. We are so thankful for their unprecedented philanthropic, in kind and pro bono work in the development of the Dorothy Day Place campus, providing expert advice throughout the construction process and passionate advocacy in the community.
