Advocacy 101

Join us in this Advocacy 101 training that will introduce basic and useful strategies for non-partisan advocacy, specifically with Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis. We will present knowledge aimed at enhancing individuals’ abilities to advocate for an issue to a policy maker or elected official and inform more on how advocates have achieved important legislative wins for the Catholic Charities work through advocacy. In this training, participants will have the opportunity to engage in how and what advocacy work can achieve in a collaborative group space. All are welcome, whether you are new to social justice advocacy or bring years of experience and would like to re-connect.
