Emergency Shelter and basic needs for children


Emergency shelter placement and basic needs for children from birth to 17-years-old, referred by a county worker, police, probation officer or the court.

Children are provided basic needs such as food, clothing and medical checkup at St. Joe's Community Health Clinic.

For youth referred by Hennepin County: referral to shelter foster homes, other shelters or St. Joseph's Home for Children's Emergency Shelter

For youth referred by another county or government entity: referral for placement in St. Joseph's Home for Children's Emergency Shelter Temporary shelter while waiting for placement.

Hours: Daily, 24 hours
