With the support of more than 500 generous individuals, families, businesses, foundations, corporations, and civic and faith organizations, Catholic Charities reached its goal of $40 million in private contributions, to complete the Capital Campaign for Dorothy Day Place.

The innovative medical respite wing in Higher Ground Saint Paul -- funded by a unique collaboration between three area hospitals, including United Hospital, Regions Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital -- received 121 referrals in its first six months for a total potential cost avoidance of over $700,000.
