About illness

Volunteers who are ill with vomiting or diarrhea are excluded from participating in meal service activities. Volunteers are restricted from working with exposed food, clean equipment, utensils, linens and single-service or single-use items if they have: an enteric bacterial pathogen capable of being transmitted by food, including Salmonella, Shigellosis, or Escherichia coli, persistent sneezing, coughing or a runny nose, please stay home but call your team lead to cancel.
