Spiritual Care
Catholic Charities’ Spiritual Care program helps individuals of all faiths explore spirituality, purpose and values. It is mindful of
seeing the whole person and creating a community of care. Advocates journey with clients as
they strive to find meaning and
healing in their
lives.
Pastors, deacons and spiritual care advocates have ministries at several Catholic Charities programs, including
St. Joseph’s Home for Children and
Hope Street Shelter for Runaway and Homeless Youth,
Mary Hall,
Evergreen,
Glenwood,
Exodus and
St. Anthony residences and
Branch III.

- Worship services
- Religious resources and a ministry of presence
- Services in a variety of faith traditions are available
Clinical Pastoral Education Program
Clinical Pastoral Education, a program of the
Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, is for leaders from all faith communities who want to further develop their spiritual care and counseling skills. The program combines hands-on spiritual care with qualified supervision and peer group reflection.
CPE places faith leaders, lay ministers and seminarians at Catholic Charities' programs, where they are available to our guests and residents.
