Power of Home

For those who are alone, we will be their family. For those without a house, we will be their home.

Home is more than just four walls and a roof over our head. It’s the people, the care and the memories that bring a home to life and anchor us in the community around us. Home is the solid ground on which we find our footing, put down roots and grow. Home is powerful.

This past year we were reminded just how powerful home is when we were all asked to stay at home for the safety of others. Our staff continued to show up every day to ensure those we serve have a healthy meal, a place to wash their clothes and a caring voice to ask about their day.

While the full impact of the pandemic is yet to be seen, we know that more people are at risk of experiencing homelessness and housing instability.

For those who are alone, we will be their family. For those without a house, we will be their home.

“Our community can’t forget about the people who are in shelter or the people sleeping outside; every person is so important to someone else …we need help to get them to where they need to go.”
-Sam Stolz, Program Manager II
