Refugee Reception and Placement
The Reception and Placement program reunites refugees with their families and provides short-term case management to meet refugees’ basic needs. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) refers refugees to the program. Catholic Charities is one of five local agencies designated by the U.S. State Department to receive refugees.
- Case management of newly arrived refugees coming through United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)
- Assistance with paperwork for family reunification of eligible refugees and asylees
- Coordination of community support for providing basic household goods for newly arrived refugees
