As the holiday season approaches, consider one of the many ways you can help individuals in need. For more information on the following opportunities, call the Volunteer Line at 612-664-8600.
Holiday Party Coordinators A group of volunteers are needed to plan and facilitate holiday parties at several transitional housing facilities. Volunteers will coordinate activities for residents, providing food, games and holiday cheer. Contributions of small door prizes for group games and activities are appreciated. Housing facilities where holiday party coordination is needed include: Exodus Residence, Minneapolis Evergreen Residence, Minneapolis Glenwood Residence, Minneapolis
Holiday Meal Service Volunteers are needed to assist with purchasing, preparing and serving the following holiday meals to individuals in need.

Singers, Dancers, Poets or Performers Communities benefit from the joy brought by artistic expression. Showcase your talents as a performer and extend the benefit of your talent to our clients during the holiday season. Adult or children’s performance opportunities exist at many Catholic Charities sites.
Holiday Card Makers Groups can organize a card making party to create cards for adults, children or seniors served by Catholic Charities. Share your artistic talents with individuals in need by wishing them a happy holiday. Quantity of cards to make is flexible. Cards should be made off-site and a scheduled drop off time at Catholic Charities can be arranged.
Giving Tree This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Giving Tree providing holiday gifts for individuals in need. Stop by the Giving Tree in Macy's Court at the Mall of America from November 26 to December 16. Ornaments on the tree list holiday wishes for homeless and low-income community members. Shop and return the holiday gift, unwrapped, to the Giving Tree.
