St. Joseph's Home for Children


St. Joseph's Home for Children, a program of Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, serves children and their families by addressing immediate needs for shelter and stability and offering long-term solutions to emotional and behavioral issues with quality mental health care.

Programs

Residential Treatment

St. Joe's Residential Treatment program offers quality mental health treatment, individual and family therapy for children ages 6 - 17 who have serious emotional challenges. Go to Residential Treatment

Day Treatment

St. Joe's Day Treatment program offers comprehensive mental health and education services to children in kindergarten through eighth grade with severe emotional and behavioral disturbances. Go to Day Treatment

Central Intake

St. Joe's Central Intake provides basic needs and emergency shelter placement for children from birth to 17-years-old who are referred by a county worker, police, probation officer or the court.  Go to Central Intake

Emergency Shelter

St. Joe’s Emergency Shelter provides 24-hour emergency shelter for youths 6 to 17-years-old who have been removed from a situation of crisis, abuse or neglect. Go to Emergency Shelter

Mental Health Case Management

St. Joe's Mental Health Case Management serves children younger than 18-years-old who have severe emotional disturbances with case management needs. Go to Mental Health

Community Health Clinic

St. Joe's Community Health Clinic in South Minneapolis is for children—newborns to 20-years-old —most of whom participate in Catholic Charities' Children's Services Division. Go to Community Health Clinic
